We don’t like paying shipping and handling charges when we buy online either, so we try to keep buying artwork from Down To Earth Art Gallery simple and enjoyable. There is no charge for shipping or handling on purchasing any original paintings, canvases, or prints, whether framed or unframed, anywhere in North America when purchased online.
For purchasing carvings, ceramic, iron, or sandstone products, due to the weight, shipping charges do apply, and that amount will be shown through the checkout process. We do not charge for packing or handling, just shipping. For more shipping options on these items, simply contact us with your address, and we’ll be glad to get back to you promptly.
We have all items listed on our site in our gallery, so all orders get packed and shipped within two business days.
We take great care in packing all artwork for shipping; all framed or stretched artwork gets rigid Styrofoam and Masonite on both sides, then packaged in cardboard. Prints and unstretched canvases are shipped in tubes. Everything will arrive in perfect condition.
Return Policy
If, for any reason, after receiving your artwork, you would like to return it, no problem. Send us an email, or phone us within 24 hrs. of receiving the piece to let us know. Pack it well, easy to do if you keep the original packaging, and ship it back to us. You’ll have to pay the return shipping. What we usually find is if a client likes a piece of artwork in our gallery or online, they love it when they get it home. We don’t handle many returns.
