This is a collection of work exploring the dynamics of shifting colour in the local landscape. I build up layers of colour and tone, to express a sense of place in the Nova Scotia Landscape. The work is also layered in that I revisit many scenes finding nuances of depth in the water, land, and sky. This body of work is unique amongst my recent work in that I focus on the movement of elements that the repetition in the landscape inspires while creating a sense of peace and stillness.
