Down To Earth Art Gallery is honored to be hosting our first solo exhibit by Local International artist; William (Bill) Rogers.
Please join us from August 10 to 16 when we will be exhibiting 40 original paintings, from award winning portraits of Moire to many well-known local landscapes.
- Thursday 9:00 – 9:00, with opening reception from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. with the artist.
- Friday and Saturday from 9:00 - 5:00 with the artist from 3:00 – 5:00.
- Sunday from noon to 5:00 with the artist from 3:00 – 5:00
Works in oil, watercolour and drawing will be available.
In 2014, Bill served as the Royal Tour Artist for Prince Charles on their Canadian visit, with Prince Charles selecting a number of works for his collection.

Bill Rogers CSPWC, TWSA, SCA is a Nova Scotia artist working in watercolor and oil.
About Bill Rogers
He is actively involved in Plein Air painting and has been juried into many USA events and has won numerous awards in these Plein Air Festivals. The effects of light and color dominate his award-winning watercolors and oils which have been exhibited with major watercolor societies and exhibitions in Canada and the USA.
He is an elected member and currently the Past President of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour (CSPWC). He is also a signature member of the Transparent Watercolor Society of America (TWSA) and Societé Canadienne de l’Aquarelle (SCA). His work is in many public, corporate and private collections, including the collection of HRH Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, for whom he served as Royal Tour Artist in 2014. Currently he teaches at home and abroad.
