Specializing in ship portraits, he is influential for his explorations into the sparsely documented history of Canada’s shipbuilding industry.

About Bill Rogers
He is actively involved in Plein Air painting and has been juried into many USA events and has won numerous awards in these Plein Air Festivals. The effects of light and color dominate his award-winning watercolors and oils which have been exhibited with major watercolor societies and exhibitions in Canada and the USA.
He is an elected member and currently the Past President of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour (CSPWC). He is also a signature member of the Transparent Watercolor Society of America (TWSA) and Societé Canadienne de l’Aquarelle (SCA). His work is in many public, corporate and private collections, including the collection of HRH Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, for whom he served as Royal Tour Artist in 2014. Currently he teaches at home and abroad.
