April Burns lives in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, close to where she was born in Monastery. The youngest of six siblings, she credits her family for the strong support which she feels is so important for a self-taught artist.

A.J. worked as an Asphalt Raker most of his life, and took evening classes in Poetry.
“Impressionistic and Abstract” This is Folk Art at its purest form; recycled materials and Created using Finger Painting and Appliqué. The appliqué Script is cut from Horse Racing Forums. A.J. is a big fan and always has one with him.
