Wood Crafts
All of the wood products available at Down To Earth Art are created locally by Derrick Haverkort of Meadow Crafts. Meadow Crafts is located in Beaver Meadow; Antigonish County, where each piece is individually hand-crafted with a great deal of pride. Derrick uses very simple designs and lets the natural characteristics of the wood guide him in achieving a unique piece with the nicest possible grain patterns. With the proper care of applying a clear cooking oil if the product appears dry and not allowing them to sit in water; these products will provide years of use and enjoyment.
